A mentor for every junior writer
Motisse never writes for students. It guides them, motivates them and makes their progress measurable—just as a human mentor would do.

Their words, not the output of AI
While Motisse relies on the impressive understanding of a state-of-the-art AI model, it does so to provide advice and ideas, never to rewrite on one's behalf.

Immediate suggestions at every stage
No more waiting for the teacher's feedback! Whether getting started, elaborating or revising a text, Motisse offers guidance when needed to keep improving.

Tailored to the writer and its audience
Tell Motisse who you are, how old you are and who you're writing for, and its suggestions will match you and your audience's skills and interests.
The dangers of AI
Machines can now perform a wide range of intellectual tasks, and master writing in many languages. It is ever more tempting for students to use AI to offload what their teachers require them to do. However, repeatedly using tools like ChatGPT limits the development of critical thinking and creativity.

Facing the writer's block
Many students struggle with their writing and lack the skills and confidence to express their ideas. Without feedback, they find it difficult to spot the issues in their writing and how they could improve. They find writing boring/unattractive because their teachers can't provide writing assignments that match their interests.

A writing mentor always at the ready
Motisse provides instant feedback on students' writing and helps them improve in a safe and motivating environment. It develops writing skills, confidence in one's writing, and the pleasure of finding one's own words for their unique ideas. Motisse goes against the loss of intellectual autonomy due to AI overuse and promotes the values of reflective thinking and craft.

Cultivating creativity through writing
Motisse does way more than checking grammar and style. It helps students work on clichés, emotions, and details that sound true. Creative writing is a fun and powerful way to cultivate one's general creativity, independent thinking, and communication skills. Being creative is ever more important at school and at the office, as AI takes on the more mundane and repetitive tasks.

Motisse is for...
your students

We designed Motisse to fit anyone with a need and/or interest in writing better, regardless of their age or skills. Personalizing the writing experience affects the user experience at multiple levels to make sure students can engage easily.
Motisse offers a safe environment—students' works are not used for AI training and inappropriate content is filtered.
you as a teacher

Students can work on different projects in autonomy outside of the classroom, whether for assignments or just for pleasure. You can give your class extra sparkle with fun writing challenges and get to know your students a little better.
With Motisse, creativity is easily incorporated into a curriculum through activities that feel fresh and different.
They tried Motisse
It's less direct when helping you and requires you to think instead of just giving the solution to you. I think this really helps you digest and learn the process of doing writing better.
I am not afraid of writing with no ideas because it can help me to get the points.
After a while I believe I'll pick up on patterns with my writing (which words do I use that are too cliche? Which parts of the story I struggle with?) and it'll help me learn more about myself as a writer.
